Real-time graphics engineering on a node-based platform for interactive installations and live production.
Partner studio: Puny Human
A node-based visual development platform for real-time interactive multimedia — generative art, audiovisual performance, projection mapping, interactive installations and live event production — with a procedural GPU compositing pipeline underneath.
The partner's product is real-time rendering infrastructure. The skills it needs are precisely the ones a game studio has: GPU and shader work, procedural systems, performance under a hard frame budget, and hardware and show-control I/O. What it does not have is a game studio's volume of engineers who work in that space every day.
Engineering capacity was provided against the partner's real-time rendering and tooling workstreams, applying the studio's render optimization and systems programming practice to a non-game real-time platform.
Engine: Real-time graphics platform.
